|| Workplace Harassment of Women
On May 13, 2024, ASK Organization conducted a workshop for representatives from women’s organizations (Kurdistan Women’s Union, Kurdistan Women’s Association, and Kurdistan Islamic Sisters’ Union) in the Erbil province and the Soran and Rania administrations. The purpose of the workshop was to carry out a survey on workplace harassment of women. The event lasted six hours, focusing on both theoretical and practical discussions, led by Dr. Salah Aziz and Zanko Baqi.

On April 21, 2024, ASK Organization held a workshop for representatives from women’s organizations (Kurdistan Women’s Union, Kurdistan Women’s Association, and Kurdistan Islamic Sisters’ Union) in the Garmian region to conduct a survey on workplace harassment of women. The workshop lasted five hours, addressing both theoretical and practical aspects of the issue. It was led by experts Shayma Ihsan and Zanko Baqi, with the presence of ASK Iraq’s President, Dler Abdullah.
|| Women’s Leadership Dialogue in Kurdistan
As the ASK organization, we participated in a roundtable at the Women’s Leadership Academy in Iraq, where discussions were held on drafting several recommendations and sending them to new candidates for the Kurdistan Parliament. The meeting addressed the challenges faced by women, along with their empowerment, personal development, and leadership roles. It was an opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas regarding the role of women in achieving sustainable development.
|| Komar Program for Youth development
ASK Organization has announced Komar Project for Youth within the framework of Komar Project for the Development of Sulaimani. On 31st July 2024, the organization held interviews with several students from different univesities in Sulaimani to select participants for a summer internship program. This program, designed to last 8 weeks, 10 students to be selected to participate in the program.
On September 18, 2024, a lecture was presented by Mr. Abdelkader Fatih, Director of Sully Design, titled “Individual and City Development.” The session was attended by summer students and other participants at the main office of ASK Organization.

On September 5, 2024, a lecture titled “Building Families and Key Factors in Understanding Partnership” was delivered by Dr. Kazem Mohammed at our organization’s headquarters in Sulaymaniyah. The event was attended by 16 participants, including students from our summer program.

Professional Development for Tourism
ASK organized a project aimed at empowering youth and creating job opportunities for university and institute graduates. On 27/10/2024, a training course in the tourism sector titled "Professional Development for Tourism" was held with 25 participants. The course covered essential knowledge for future employment, such as aviation laws for tourists, etiquette and reception at airports, ticket booking, visa procurement, hotel reservations, and safety topics. Wishing success to the youth of the Republic and all Kurdish youth.

|| for the Development of Halabja
On Thursday, May 23, 2024, the head of the Komar team and the head of the committees visited Halabja province to identify the necessary requirements for development in various sectors. Their focus included issues such as waste and debris management, provision of medical waste incinerators, improving green spaces and gardens, and enhancing the monument of Halabja.
In conclusion, the province expressed its readiness to fully cooperate with the team and provide one-third of the project funding.
