Women Program
At ASK, we are dedicated to empowering women throughout Kurdistan-Iraq by safeguarding their rights and expanding their access to technology, education, and professional development.
Our Commitment
In August 2023, ASK signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with three major women’s organizations in Kurdistan to strengthen advocacy and support for women:
Yeketi Afretani Kurdistan (affiliated with the KDP)
Yeketi Jnan Kurdistan (affiliated with the PUK)
Yakgrto Khushkan Islami Kurdistan (affiliated with the IUK)
Together, we have developed a National Agenda focused on:
Monitoring and addressing violence against women in public places and workplaces.
Collaborating with government departments to create safer environments for women.
Empowering women through technology by providing skill development and training programs to help them excel in their professional lives.
Ensuring that women have access to technical resources for entrepreneurship and innovation.
