Women Program

At ASK, we are dedicated to empowering women throughout Kurdistan-Iraq by safeguarding their rights and expanding their access to technology and professional development. In August 2023, ASK signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with three largest women organizations in Kurdistan: Yeketi Afretani Kurdistan (affiliated with the KDP), Yeketi Jnan Kurdistan (affiliated with the PUK), and Yakgrto Khushkan Islami Kurdistan (affiliated with the IUK). Together, we have developed a National Agenda focused on Empowering Women in Technology and Advocating for Women’s Rights. Our goal is to reach more women, providing them with the tools to achieve equality, safety, and success. We have started women program in (8) cities, from north to south Kurdistan: Zakho, Dohuk, Erbil, Soran, Ranya, Sulaymaniyah, Halabja, and Kalar. By empowering women, we aim to ensure they play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Kurdistan.
