Conflict

Conflict refers to a type of competitive interaction between individuals or groups when they are pursuing goals that are either perceived or actually incompatible. This competition can arise over various factors, such as limited resources, differing values, or opposing interests. Conflicts may occur at different levels—between individuals, within groups, or across entire organizations or societies—often resulting from the struggle to achieve desired outcomes in the face of scarce opportunities or conflicting objectives. The nature of conflict can range from mild disagreements to intense disputes, depending on the level of competition and the stakes involved.

ASK Decision-Making Program Evaluation:

The ASK decision-making program conducted in Erbil from February 8 to April 4, 2007, included a participant evaluation form designed to assess various aspects of the training. Participants were asked to rate the program on a scale from 1 (poor) to 5 (very good) regarding its relevance to the political and economic conditions in Kurdistan and its alignment with their current roles and future aspirations. The evaluation included responses indicating that most participants found the program relevant and beneficial, with a notable number rating it positively. The selection process for participants also aimed to ensure a diverse and appropriate representation for the program.
